Carla Keehn, over the course of her career as a US Army Captain in the JAG Corps for the First Armored Division, a Public Defender and an over 20 year Federal Prosecutor in the Southern District of California, has first chaired over 60 jury trials to verdict. She has written more than 20 appellate briefs and has appeared before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2016 she received the United States Department of Justice Director’s Award for Superior Performance by an Assistant US Attorney and in 2015, the Southern District of California Leadership Award. A native of Southern California, Ms. Keehn is an honors graduate of Princeton University and University of California, Hastings College of Law. In her free time, she is an avid runner, completing 26 marathons, including the Boston Marathon in a time of 3:22.
